Two strangers, separated by the planet they live on. Two friends, separated by land and sea. Two strangers, separated by the distance they cover. One dilemma that neither of them can take anymore.
"It's weird... Fate is very fickle. It always seems to want to make things worse somehow." She stared at the Lucent moon, feeling the clear ocean shallows brush over her furry paws. Brows furrowed, her eyes turned to a look of heartsickness that she had become so accustomed to lately. "Why does it always want to ruin? Why is it so unfair?"
He hugged her close to his chest, breathing in her scent for what was surely one of the last times. "I wish I could tell you," he responded slowly, tears springing to his eyes. "But, please, Lily: stay positive, even for no one else but me. 'Cause there's always that chance that things will change for the better.
"We've just gotta believe."

"The fuck you are leaving me." His roar cracked through the hall like lightning. Ara didn't blink. She stood there, calm as death, done to her core. No tears. No tremble. Just a weary exhale as she turned her back on him - the one thing he never thought she'd do. Before she could take a step, his hand shot out, gripping her arm like he was holding on to life itself. "Where are you going, Ara!" His command shook the pack. But she wasn't his to command. Not anymore. Ara ripped her arm free with a force that made even his wolf recoil. "Don't. Touch. Me." Her aura slammed into him, cold and merciless. "You think I'll stand here and watch you mate and breed her?" she hissed, every word a dagger. His throat bobbed. "She meant nothing." She laughed - sharp, broken, brutal. "Yeah? That's why you were fucking her in your office? Couldn't even hide the scent of your betrayal." "Ara, it was a mistake-" She stepped closer, eyes blazing. "Your mistakes come in episodes, Alpha. Season one, season two, season three. You don't make mistakes. You make choices." He swallowed hard. "I don't need her. I need you." "Lies," she spat. "Every damn sentence you breathe is a lie. I can't even look at you without feeling sick." He flinched like her words physically hit him. "That female behind you?" she pointed, not bothering to glance. "Perfect for you. Go mark her. Breed her. Hell, fuck her for all I care." Her voice cracked - but she kept going, blade steady even when bleeding. "I don't need you. Not anymore." His knees crashed to the floor. The mighty Alpha. On the ground. For her. "Ara... I'm sorry. I'm really fucking sorry." His voice broke like he finally understood what loss tasted like. She stared at him with a sad, devastating smile. "Isn't it too late for that, Mate?" This story is about two vaporeons who are soul mates but live sparate lives from each other. Nolan is the name of the male he is a bit of a truble maker and is useally up to no good he lives in the ocean with a group of vaporeons and his family, he is veary outgoing and is always ventering off on his own. Vera is the name of the female (shiny vaporeon.) She lives in the town that is near by the ocean with her brother who looks after her (umbreon.) Vera has a bit of a stuck up attitude and isn't veary open with others especially with pokemon from outside of town. One day Nolan decides to viset the town to poke some fun and see's vera for the frist time he falls in love at frist sight but due to Nolan being up to no good he gets banned from the town after geting cought stealing from a shop will he ever be able to reach out to her? And with both of them liveing their separate lives that they both love, will they be able to set aside their differences to be together? This is a story written after being inspired by many others. With no intention to copy from other stories, this intricate world has been created for a sweet, adventure-filled, action-packed story, with a touch of romance, exploring the difficulties of life on the run and touching on a multitude of themes. Pokémon walk and move as they normally would, with the exception of some quadrupeds preferring to move as bipedal. The cover art is done by myself! It's not great, but I wanted to at least do something cute and original for my story! Last but not least, interactions are greatly appreciated.
