Its the year 3023.
A massive nuclear war broke out between the humans, causing all the humans to go extinct from the radiation after the bombs were dropped on all the countries. 
Although the radiation killed all of the humans, it didn't kill the animals. Instead, it mutated them. Some animals are characteristics of different species and some animals decreased or increased in size. 
The world is now predominantly ruled by wolves. But these wolves are different. They are larger in size and have boosted sense of smell and hearing. The wolves are now the size of bears, sometimes larger. Other animals have mutated as well, including prey and other predators. 
The wolves still live in a forests, with dens, rivers and hunting grounds. 

One pack, called The Chishio Pack. This pack of wolves own the largest territory, and a force to be reckoned with. They are a well trained and are a large pack. They have fought many battles since the human nuclear war and were one of the first wolf packs to be formed.
