The world has gone crazy--or has it? Rowyn would like to know.

With brainwashing becoming the norm, imagination is a threat. Those with one are becoming delirious--and insane.

After trying to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge, Rowyn is rushed away to a mental institution. There she figures it's all over.

Hope comes in the form of a boy named Ember, who keeps her spark alive by telling her stories of a place where everything is free and safe.

When Ember asks Rowyn to run away with him, will she accept? And what will happen when outside sources hear about this far-away place?

It's a time for faith, courage, and yes, maybe a little imagination. Something so deadly in this era.
