The future isn't set, it can be changed by even the smallest details being changed. What if, in "Mewtwo Strikes Back", Ash's latent Aura abilities were activated due to the twin Psychic blasts that struck him and his power's made him smarter, faster, stronger and he is able to use Mewtwo and Mew in the Leagues, and he becomes the greatest Pokémon trainer the world had ever know. He will face his trials, he will have to overcome his weaknesses and he will learn to love one who suffered when she meets Ash, but loves him anyway and together, Ash and Latios will be the greatest like no one ever was. (P.S. I do t own pokemon nor their characters, I just own the story and the new characters)
