"No," I whispered, shaking with the pain that ripped through me.
"Yes," he said back, taking a dangerous step towards me. "I reject you as my mate."
I now shook violently, my hair whipping around my face, silver hot pain ripped through me, I felt like someone had stabbed me, then twisted the hilt of the blade, digging it even deeper.

(Some key things of this are going to change. I was like twelve when I started writing this, but I never expected it to get so many views. Now that people have noticed my story (to my seventeen year old mortification), I thought some things need to be changed and re-written.)

I felt someone staring hard at me, I started looking around the crowd and everyone is staring at me, but this is different.
