I guess I should introduce myself, huh? Well my name is Winter Leaves and I'm a werewolf. I know what you're thinking, Ahh a werewolf! It's going to eat us and drain our blood! First of all, werewolves and humans have lived in peace for years now. Second of all, only vampires drink blood. Not werewolves. Anyway, I'm the oldest of my two sisters and my father had been taking care of us since mom died. Oh yeah, by the way I'm sixteen. I'm very content with my life, good friends, loving family, great grades. So basically when I heard that the werewolf prince was looking for his mate, I was like, I know that's not me! Yeah well. . .
I was wrong.
When I found out I was chosen to participate in a competition or as they call it: A Selection, I seriously thought it was the end of the world. I decided right there and then that I would fail and come back home. But the stupid werewolf Prince apparently thinks otherwise.
Winter Leaves is a tomboy with a caring heart. All she wants to do is go back home to her friends and family. She could care less about Mates, or the selection, or the prince. She just wants to be a (somewhat) normal person.
Loëk Garnet was the prince of the werewolves. He just turned seventeen, which means he has only one more year until he becomes the king/alpha of all werewolves. All he ever wanted was to find his mate. He was beginning to lose hope, when a girl from the selection catches his eye. Will Loëk be able to find his mate or will he be rejected by the one he loves the most? Heck if I know, I'm just the narrator! To find out you'll have to read.
