Is love real? That’s a question that I’m constantly asking myself. And the answer is always no.
Jordin Nichols doesn’t believe in love, at least she doesn’t anymore. As a child her head was filled with dreams of love and romance. However, her parent’s divorce and finding out a shocking truth about her crush and best friend leaves her heartbroken and learning some valuable lessons in life. That you can’t wait around for someone else to fix all of your problems for you and all that stuff in books is just fiction. At 16 she is practically raising her 3 younger brothers alone and is being stuck in an unrequited love who will never love her back. She doesn’t think life can get any worse. That is until she meets the infamous M. Talon Taylor, the bad boy of high school and her science project for the rest of the year. Having to deal with the biggest jerk and rudest person in the entire human existence, is possibly the worst thing she can go through but what happens when they start spending time together and she thinks he’s something more than she already thought? As they grow closer and he helps her slowly get out of her cocoon and learn to live for herself and have fun. And also help her get over some major hardships plaguing her mind. Could he also be the one to help her see that there is more to love than she originally thought there was?
