A wrecked up family where the father is a murderer and the step mother loves her blood daughter more than Camille who is weakened by jealousy that ends up causing something that she regrets a lot. In this whole mess there's a young boy who starts liking this heart broken and mysterious Camille and gets involved in her destroyed life.

Rose, a young girl living in an abusive household finally finds the love of her life after spending most of her years alone. She meets Connor by accident and after awhile of knowing each other he promises her a better life if she moves in with him. Everything seems perfect for the most part, she gets away from her parents, her mom tries her hand in sobriety which brings them closer, all seems perfect. Almost too perfect, after awhile, Connor starts to show his true colors and the deeper Rose digs the more she unravels the truth about who Connor really is.

I very much don't agree with some decisions to move the plot forward though the story isn't all that. For young women reading, the treatment and abuse of some of these characters is absolutely unacceptable and be aware of that. This is just a trigger warning.
