High School Human AU. Annabeth is stressed out. Stuck between academics, extracurriculars, socializing, and family responsibilities she is not having a good time. Her only hope is to be at the top of her class in order to leave as soon as possible. However, she meets a certain easy-going green eyed boy who may just give her some real hope after all. Percy, is scared. At age 16 he's approaching a career in swimming that most young athletes can only dream of. He's excited, but doesn't feel fulfilled with his future. So Percy is trying to enjoy himself in search of what will make him happy. It just so happens that he's about to meet a certain high strung grey eyed girl.
This is supposed to be a romantic coming of age story about two damaged people trying to find their way. Once they find each other however, the only thing getting in their way is themselves. As it progresses it'll touch on some darker themes and while trying to be realistic there is some PG language and behavior. Meant for teenage audiences.
