Isabelle 'Bells' Ryan is overly sarcastic, spends too much time shut up in her world, reading and finding comfort in non existent characters from countless of books, studying into late hours at night and trying to control her recurring anxiety.
Isabelle's learned to put up walls around her, protecting her from everything that's hurt her. Having a very stressful mother and a severe problem with hating the world and every person within it, Isabelle likes do things her own way; alone.
Until it happened.
Accepting a dare made by her friends as a way to make Isabelle "live a little", she is forced to write a letter confessing a secret nobody knows about her, and leave it somewhere to be found. Nobody must know who wrote the letter, or who it was delivered to.
But the unexpected happens when she founds out a complete stranger replied to her letter, and she begins to know more and more about this strange yet charming person who is more like her than anyone else.
