Have you ever wondered if the stories you were told as a child were really true. If so were they made just to scared you into being good little boys and girl. If not how could the world live with it.
Deep down I think we all know their true .It's just weather or not we choose to believe the big bad wolf ate red ridding hood. That Bella could actually fall for Edward and that Jacob could morph into a wolf. People choose what they want to believe. We choose to believe that the sounds in the night are just squeaky floors or trees outside our windows. Humans fear what is different. That fear is the force behind all fear. Most of us don't want to believe that the stories are true. Or just refuse to believe they are.
Emory Lucas isn't most humans. He knows that the big bad wolf did eat red riding hood, and your worst dreams do go bump in the night. Emory is one of those dreams.
Deep in the valley of Kayden Hill's California is were all the stories are true. The dreams become reality.

A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers. ***** It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life. [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
