(NOTE: RATED MATURE FOR VIOLENCE NOTHING ELSE! Ok, so there might be a few unsettling words.....)

Kya looks around, as if looking for something. She seems satisfied and says, "Come with me"

I begin to get offended but she gestures to the book shelf. I turn my head confused and stare. I notice something. I strain my eyes and look but see nothing. I'm about to tell kya to get out but then i see it again... a small red blinking light.

I jump up, and squeak. Kya says, "please we need to go"

I nod and walk out. I'm pretty sure it looks like i just saw a ghost, or that i look like a ghost because people were staring. Kya leads me down the hall and up the stairs. then back down the hall and in her dorm. The place is ransacked. There is books strawn all through the living room, there's broken glass and the T.V. is face down the kitchen.

I sit on what's left of the couch and see three smashed disks on the perfectly not damaged table. Kya sits beside me. "there is, a lot you don't know. first of all, there you do know there is a God, and that with God comes evil. But you don't know they are after you."

"what the heck?" I ask getting scared.

  "well..."

She looks...there are no words. Her clothe-less body lays stiff on a metal slab, and her head moving back and forth. I could stare at this all day, but I can't. I know it's wrong. And, she would hate me after this. I roughly turn my head away, then I hear a groan. I snap my head to her direction. She groans again. "Oh God...my head..." She sits up, but instantly falls down. Probably a head rush. "Skye?" I call her name, softly. I don't want her to feel alone and frightened. "Who's there?" Her pearly voice commands. Ever since we've been thrown in here, my love for her grew. I can physically see my love in the air, just waiting for her to inhale it. "It's just me, Luke." She gasps and a million things come out of her mouth,"Luke!? Are you ok? Where are we? What happened? Wheres Tristan? And Mr. Parker-" "Just open your eyes, princess." Princess? Where the fuck did that come from? Oh well, I like it anyways. "Shit."she curses when her eyes are open,"Luke! What the hell is going on!?" "I don't know, Princess, but don't shout. It echos." I hold my head, trying to subside the pain tht now grows. "Mr. Parker is staring at me." I throw my fist against the metal bar I'm contained against,"Mr Parker!? He's there with you? Cover yourself, dear." "Figured that out already. Thanks for your help." I could imagine her rolling her eyes. "I'm here as a friend, not a foe. Though you do look ravishing, might I add?" Mr. Parker states. "What do you mean friend not a foe? I'm pretty sure you're the big enemy here." She tightens her hold on herself. He sighed,"Maybe so, but do you want to know where your friend is or not?" "Yes, please." She begged. "No! Skye! Don' make deals with him!" I yell. I know exactly where this is leading. I could feel her gaze burning in my direction, though I'm 99.99% sure she can't see me"What do you want, Mr Parker?" He sighed, like it was obvious. Well, it was for me,"Give me yourself, and you get your friend. Oh, and I'll let you go.

On a early Sunday morning; Echo is getting ready to head to her parents house to spend the day with her family. There's a knock on the door. Echo opens it, surprised at the smiling figure of a male looking down at her. "Hi! Is Izzy here?! I have to drop off her notes!" The boys says holding up a yellow note book with Izzy's classic property tag written on it, 'Izzy Is Baby'. "She's not here right now. But you can set it on her desk over there." I say while moving and letting him pass. I close the door and walk to my bed, grabbing the CD's I bought for my younger sisters Evie. He walks to the door and turns the handle but it doesn't open. I turn around when I hear him struggling with the door. "The door won't open." He says pointing to the handle. "Yeah it's been weird the past week or two. You just have to yank on it." I say as I walk up to it to open it. But a loud static sound comes over the speakers. "Hello students of Clover University. It seems we've had a glitch in the locking system. We're not sure how long it will take to repair. So unfortunately you're stuck in the dorms until further notice. We're sorry for the inconvenience." The speakers make a beeping sound then go quiet. I sigh before throwing my bag on my bed and plopping down. I pull out my phone and call my parents, telling them what is happening and that I won't see them until they fix the issue in the system. "Well then. Guess I'm stuck with thee Echo Short!" The boys smiles joyfully before marching over to Izzy's bed and sitting down. "So you know my name but I don't know yours." I say looking at him. He chuckles. "Kai Wells! It's a pleasure to meet you!" He says happily. "Nice to meet you Kai Wells! I look forward to getting to know you buddy." I say with a faint smile before falling back into my bed and plugging in my earbuds. This is gonna be a weird... FOR THE DETAILED DESCRIPTION, READ PROLOGUE. As the description was too lengthy. i couldn't write it here. :) _______________________________ "Sera, I am not the one to repeat my words. So you better say yes in front of the whole kingdom when I ask you to mark me," Damien said, glaring at me. "Never," I spat. "I will never mark you, you fucking hybrid," I said with all the anger inside me. "Then you leave me no choice," he said as his eye color shifted from hazel to a deep crimson red. His vampire side had taken over. He took a step closer, and my heart started pounding in my chest. I knew exactly what was going to happen next. This time, it was his vampire side. Last time, it was his wolf. Each time I resisted him, he hurt me, made me regret it. And now I knew he was going to compel me, force the answer he wanted out of me. I quickly shut my eyes tightly so he couldn't use his power against me. There was no point in running, I was already injured, already weak. A cold, dark laugh filled the room, sending a shiver down my spine. "My, my, look how afraid you are, my Sera," he mocked. I could feel him getting closer, his presence suffocating. Suddenly, he yanked my hair back, hard. I screamed in pain, but I refused to open my eyes. "Be my good girl and open your eyes, Seraphina," he commanded, his voice low and dangerous. "Never," I growled in defiance. I couldn't believe the Moon Goddess had mated me to this monster. I despised him. Every inch of my soul hated him. "Give me all the pain you want, but I will never obey you," I spat, my voice filled with hatred. He chuckled darkly. "Then, as you wish," he murmured. I barely had time to process his words before sharp pain pierced my neck. His fangs sank into my flesh with full force, tearing through my skin. I let out a blood-curdling scream as agony burned through me. My eyes snapped open involuntarily, locking onto his, and in that moment, I realized I had made a terrible mistake.

BOOK #1 in The Fire series TRIGGER WARNING IN SOME CHAPTERS He leans closer, keeping me pinned against the wall with his hands on either side of my head. I glanced at both of them before holding his glare with my own. He was giving me a cold stare, caging me in like an animal. I bit my lip, trying to hold it back. I was never good in situations like these. He stopped leaning forward when his face was just inches from mine. He was trying to make me uncomfortable. Trying to scare me, but he didn't. I wasn't scared of him. I didn't hide my face or get nervous... I just bit my lip harder, trying to hold it in. It would just make things worse for me, I bet. He kept his eyes on mine as I glanced at his friend behind him with his arms crossed and a bored expression on his face. I looked back at the man in front of me. "You shouldn't act that way around me." He says coldly. "I can have you dead right-" I couldn't hold it in. I started laughing. He leans back, shocked, but his face goes into a glare as soon as his friend behind him perks up, watching, interested now. I calm down a little. "I'm sorry." I say, catching my breath. "Continue, Continue." He watched me closely before leaning closer to me again. "I can have you killed-" Suddenly, I lost it again, laughing harder, bending a little to hold my stomach. He punched the wall in an effort to scare me but instead made me laugh even harder, falling to the ground and rolling on my side. Soon I had his friend laughing with me as the man in front of me glared at both of us. "Don't give me that look. She's the one who started laughing." His friend said, wheezing a little bit and trying to stop laughing. I calmed down a bit, standing up to face them, a smile on my face. "Now, if you're done threatening me," I raise an eyebrow. "Or at least trying to. I'll be on my way." With that, I grabbed my backpack, turned my back to them, and walked away.

I struggled and lashed out at him hoping to cause some, any damage at all that might allow me to escape, instead his grip tightened and a whimper escaped without my consent. His touch burned, or at least I imagined it burning, sizzling my skin until it was burnt to a crisp. He clawed down the back of my dress, shredding the lace fabric to bits as if it was paper, it floated to the ground like confetti, I looked at it in disgust, as if it was celebrating my exposure. The cold air of the store room nipped at my bare back, contrasting between the burning fire his touch inflicted. I felt sick. He was now shoving himself closer to me until it was impossible for me to move. I could hardly even breath. I was seeing red and I couldn't even do anything. I felt so helpless. Tears welled up in my eyes and they threatened to spill. I shut them tight wishing I had just stayed at home. Suddenly the pressure released. I could breath. Once again I was shocked and didn't know what was happening until I opened my eyes and saw the rogue getting up and looking to my right. I hadn't even noticed the large figure standing protectively next to me and so I was staggering away from him too. Power radiated from him making me feel safe and scared at the same time.
