Dear Future Husband, I wrote in my book. This was the part of the day that I looked most forward to. I smiled as I continued to write.
'Today my mum told me that her friend sons going to come to see me tomorrow. I think his names Muhammed. The amount of cleaning we did today. It amazes me thinking that maybe this may be you. Only Allah knows but it comes down to tomorrow. This is the first proposal I've received. I don't know what to feel. Nervous? Excited? Scared? My brother (Musa) and my sister in law (Hafsa) are coming back from Birmingham tomorrow with Yaseen for moral support; they were meant to stay there for another 2 days. Until then I'll wait for you..."

I'm nothing. Never was, never will. I nodded. He was right. He was so damn right. Sahra Ali is eighteen years old when she gets married. It was not a marriage out of love, no, she was forced into it. Shre grew up being abused. Her parents sold her for money. No parent would do that, so are her so called parents her real parents? She is trying to survive this marriage, because she believes in Allah and knows that He had a good reason that He gave her all these pain. Aneel Osman is a badboy who wants nothing to do with Islam. He was a muslim when he was younger, but when something bad happened, he blamed Allah for it. Deep inside he knows that it is wrong, but shoves that thought away. DAGGASH also has its, which differs from any other families of the Shuwa Arabs in that country Being a member of the 'DAGGASH' was everything she hates in life, she regretted being brought to such a family that goes under the will and control of a selfish old lady 'AYYA' She doesn't understand why must everything has to go just as Ayya commands?!! Can't they just live a happy life with no Ayya and her problems!! Is that a lot to ask for?! It's a rule laid by Ayya , a rule that has been going on ever so long, which makes things more complicated. She can't believe that Ayya is the one to tell her what to dream of and what not to! Her mates are down their in their graves and she's here trying to take control over their own lives. The rule says "NO ONE IS EVER ALLOWED TO MARRY A SPOUSE OUT OF THE BOUNDARY OF THE DAGGASH" and what annoys her more is that Ayya is to match spouses. That's not the only rule Ayya laid, there are many more others , she felt disturbed. Suffocated. Prisoned. Weak. She wondered how her parents were able to go through all this, now that. She couldn't live her normal life. Why must Ayya take her family's happiness for her own self satisfaction?!! Is she this heartless?!!! If not for the sake of mama and baba, she'll have never stayed in such a disaster with Ayya torturing her life and all other members of the family. ____•____Complete
