Ivy Goldhawk seeks refuge from in denial heartbreak caused by Jace Lightwood through travelling to Forks, Washington where high demonic energy was elevating. The mission led to the discovery of a new whole race of supernatural individuals that Shadowhunters like Ivy never knew to be living. Despite the astonishing circumstances, Ivy seems to have perceived comfort from Jacob Black, her new found friend. This happens after the city of heavenly fire.(In the Mortal Instruments series) She walks in gracefully and says with so much venom, that I flinch, "Sit down and listen." I obey, sensing a very wrong and dangerous vibe from her. She continues, "I am Ms. Smith but you will call me madam." I reply, "And I am Clar-" "I know who you are if not why would I have summoned that demon to kidnap you," she interrupts, glaring at me. I am shocked, why would this lady kidnap me. That one night turns her whole world upside down. She has no one to trust, to depend on, to love. Will she survive this like she survived everything else or will she lose herself along the way?
