I am writing a short story about a young woman named Danilla Laine. She is someone who has just come out of a sort of mental 'coma' where she is living her life unaware of what is really going on. A reoccurring element in this text is the character "autopilot" which refers to her mental state. "Autopilot" is my idea of what goes on when you have a routine and you are so used to it that it becomes this automatic and natural thing and anything out of routine can seem odd. The story is from her point of view and is a conversation between her and her Councillor. I want people to feel a sort of unease and go into a state of self-awareness when they read my story.

"I want to capture this moment and save it forever." He looked at her, watching the way her cheeks flushed a deep red as he brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. "You're breathtaking. You have no idea how gorgeous you are, do you?" His voice was a low whisper, sending shivers down her spine. She tried to hide her smile but failed. Slowly, he leaned in, his breath warm against her neck. "Would you like me to make you feel good?" Her heart raced as she nodded, barely able to speak. His hands moved down her legs, teasing her, building anticipation. She leaned back, letting herself get lost in the moment, her mind swirling with the intoxicating sensations. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Michelle Garcia is doing the best she can to get back on her feet along with her 17 year old son. In her 40s, thrown away twice by men she should've been able to trust, she has chosen to focus on what she can control and work hard to provide for herself and Tony. Grant, Trent and Sam are three friends who have been together through thick and thin. Growing up together, they realized that they would always be a team. Them against whatever the world was going to throw at them. They also realized that they never wanted a woman to pull them apart. No Yoko Ono for them, nope. They needed a woman that they could share; one that would hold them together and balance them out. They tried separate relationships in the past but all fizzled out. They never found one that met the needs and desires of all three, until they saw her. RECENTLY EDITED WITH A CHANGE IN THE ENDING πŸ”₯ Mature content | Reverse Harem | Found Family | Suspense + Love
The echoes of tomorrow by The1mperfectDiary

In a world where the future isn't written but echoed, 17-year-old Lila hears the whispers of events yet to happen - but they're not hers. The echo she's been hearing for months is someone else's life, someone's fate, and that someone is in danger. As she tries to uncover the identity of the person behind the mysterious echoes, Lila finds herself caught in a web of secrets, shadowy figures, and a powerful organization that will do anything to keep their plans hidden. Can she stop what's coming before it's too late, or will the echoes become her own fate? First Chapter (Excerpt): I've always heard things. It started when I was younger - whispers of something I couldn't see, couldn't understand. At first, it was just faint sounds, like voices drifting from another world. But by the time I was sixteen, those whispers turned into something more - echoes. Clear, distinct, and impossible to ignore. It's strange. Most people think the future is something that hasn't happened yet. But for me, it's not that simple. I hear the future. The thing is, the future I hear isn't mine. I've been hearing her - a girl I don't know, yet know everything about. Her life, her fears, her pain. I can't explain how, but I hear her voice every night, calling out for help. I don't know her name. I don't know her face. All I know is that something horrible is coming for her. And if I can't stop it... then her fate might echo into mine. Tonight, I hear her again. The echo sharpens, clearer than ever before. "Help me, Lila. It's happening. They're coming." The echo fades. And just like that, I'm left with a choice - follow the voice, or ignore it and risk the consequences. I don't know why it's me she's calling to, but I can't just do nothing. I owe it to her. And to myself.

"Sweetheart wake up. You're at the hospital." I looked up and saw the same woman hovering over me. "Oh...okay." I opened my eyes fully and noticed that I was already in the hospital bed. Why on earth did she have to wake me? "So why am I here?" I asked confused. "Well," she said pulling a short and skinny woman into the room. "This very sweet lady saw you on the side of the road and called 9-1-1." I looked up at her and she threw me an evil look. In a way, she seemed strongly familiar. I looked away slowly diving my eyes back into the direction of the nurse. "Before we leave you, I just wanted to let you know that my name is Julia. You can call me whatever works best for you. Julia, Nurse, Nurse Julia. Whatever. I'll be right back with your papers." Sixteen-year-old Abigail Moore, also referred to as Ginger by her boyfriend Cameron Wood, has lived a terrible sixteen years. She grew up with her drug-addict mother who didn't care enough to properly raise her, and she's stuck living alone for a good amount of her teenage years. Once Abigail's mother got put in jail for suspected murder of Abigail's older sister, Julia, Abigail is forced to live with her aunt. Abigail and her aunt get along very well, and she grows up safe and in no harm. Although her life and goals seem set straight and simple to her, her mother and others are always watching, just waiting in Abigail's shadows for the perfect time to strike, and take their next victim in the creepy and deathly darkness of Brett Creek in Colombia Falls, Maine. Abigail's developed amnesia from her horrible past makes it hard for her to live, but the people she fears most in life, make it easier to find the pieces that are missing to complete the puzzle. ******************************************* Also, please vote this for the 2018 Watty's!! ;)

Genevieve Anderson, the girl that had been left behind and forgotten. In a town where everybody knows everybody, meaning that no one goes unnoticed. Nobody just grabs a bag and leaves in the middle of the night, without someone seeing something. Nobody changes identity over night, and is suddenly left with the care of their father in her hands. Forgotten over night, Genevieve changes the person that everyone thought they knew. Gone was the girl that would smile and wave to everyone, was replaced by a girl that had a need for stealing and getting by every day. She had been left with the responsibility of an old ranch that was no longer in operation and the care of her father, who had been to war, and was suffering from additions like there was no tomorrow. Gone was the girl that depended on her big brothers to open the gate, replaced with a girl that worked long hours at the ranch, before she was sneaking out after midnight, to drive whatever cars her brothers had left behind. Except, one day, something happens and everything takes a turn for the worse. "I left you here, for 20 minuets, and you have already let him relapse?! I trusted you, for a second, and you backstabbed me?! I can't believe any of you anymore, because you are made of lies!" Holding on by a string, Genevieve isn't sure how much more she can take, especially when people appear from the past she thought she left behind, when she was 5 years old. Time moves on for a reason, doesn't it? "I told you to forget about it. It's in the past, and nobody has ever asked me to do what you are asking me to do. You are asking me to put away my boots and hat, and stand in front of people in heels and a puffy dress. That's not who I am, if you had stuck around to find out who I really am. I was 13 when I started drinking alcohol for fun. 14 the first time I took ecstasy at a college party I snuck into, the same age I lost my virginity. This was the first time I went to a mental institution because it's also the year I first tried to kill myself. 15 the first time I smoked meth, took a bump of cocaine, shot myself up with heroine. This was the first time I got sent to rehab, it didn't work and I came out worse. I was 16 when I tried to commit three times in the same year, the last time I got my heart to stop for 30 seconds. That year was also the first time I snorted Hydrocodone, getting me started in opiates, I experimented with Xanax and liked it. And I was a month from 17 when I got sober. - "Fuck you." I snap. "You already have." Micah bites out. "And I'm pretty fucking sure you liked it too, if your orgasms were anything to go by." - "I want-" Micah stopped, running his fingers through his hair.
