Lily Brooks used to be a normal, happy teenager, up until her thirteenth birthday. That night something happened that changed her. Bad things happen to good people. Out casted and victimised, she learnt to hide her emotions and protect herself in an endless fog. Disowned by her friends, identical twin Lizzy and everyone at school, Lily has no one to turn to when she needs someone the most. She won't speak, not even when she becomes pregnant. Subjected to endless lectures and counselling, Lily finds her shield of fog slowly disappearing. Pregnant, mute, lonely and with a stormy future, Lily tries to overcome obstacles and create a brighter future for her child.
