I sighed heavily as I scanned the forest. I had heard something or someone to be specific, wandering about. I decided I would leave once I affirmed they weren't a danger. "What are you doing in my land, human?" A deep enchanting voice spoke I sighed once again "I'm not human, just smell like one" I spoke as I turned around to see the most stunning man I have ever seen "Mate" he spoke "Find another female, Lycan" I spat He only growled at me in response. Men. My brother was the same way. It's kinda funny how all, correction, most shifter men think alike. I would've thought he would be different, after all, he is Lycan. Something of myths. But then again, so are the supernatural. I turned away from him, not even looking at him. I didn't want to remember what he looked like so I didn't give him a second glance. I heard him move closer. I quickly grabbed the knife out of my holster and threw it at a tree next to him. He stops moving then. "Heed my warning. It's the only one you'll get" I spoke coldly "I will find you. Then you will have no escape from me" he spoke as he backed away I could understand. Lycans, like lion-shifters, were going extinct. Therefore mates were even more important to them. But, even if I understood I still didn't want to be someone's mate. Synopsis It is a fantasy story about our main character, Jaron, a seasoned warrior and devoted father, who is determined to protect his child from a dangerous and mysterious fate. As the story unfolds, the threats surrounding them grow ever more perilous, drawing them into a world of ancient rivalries, supernatural powers, and political intrigue. There's a timeskip in wich we see how our characters grow and how they meet more people along the way. As the looming threat gets closer and closer. What begins as a struggle for survival becomes a sprawling adventure filled with unpredictable allies, fearsome enemies, and shocking revelations about the past. Along the way, humor and heartfelt moments balance the tension, making the journey as fun and lively as it is dangerous. The stakes rise with every chapter, leading to epic battles, cunning strategies, and intense duels that test not only strength but also bonds of trust and loyalty. With each step forward, the journey expands into uncharted lands, revealing new kingdoms, powerful clans, and forgotten legends. This is a long, ongoing saga-one that I'd love to see brought to life as a manga or anime-and I'll keep updating the series as the characters grow, the challenges mount, and the danger closes in. I only uploaded it so that my friend could read it, and I never imagined people would actually love it. So, it's nothing like Whispered Vows-that's the book I poured my heart and soul into, dedicating 5-6 months completely. So please, don't judge me by this book 😂!!
