Kate Green was the girl that everyone loved. She had lots of friends, made good grades, and always seemed overflowing with happiness. Inside, she was constantly battling her self esteem issues. She never felt good enough. Porter Wallace was a stoic, reserved boy. He kept to himself, scared to let anyone in. He never fully trusted anyone. While in their relationship, Porter and Kate constantly struggled. He focused all energy on her, trying to 'fix' her confidence as a distraction while his dad was suffering with cancer. He wanted to make Kate feel wanted, but all she felt was judged. But when their relationship ends, they start to find out who's been broken all along, and who never really needed fixing.
