In the Dystopian world of Virtutis Terra, The Land of Courage (Latin), heroes are raised.  Having been separated from their families, children are held in custody outside of the massive city and are taught about the importance of courage.  At the age of sixteen, they are put to the test by being assigned a specific task or adventure to undergo.  They have no other option than to succeed, or die trying.  Failure to accept an adventure results in immediate sentencing to slavery.  But if one can complete their quest, they will return to praise, fame, and a life of prosperity. The whole world was thrown into chaos when seven warriors decided to take over the seven continents, to rule them as their own. Little does Kasey know a Bounty Hunter who is feared and respected has decided to challenge her, and that this man is going to end up changing her life forever.

They believe that if the parents believe it, the kids will too. But it doesn't stop Alex. She and her best friends decide that they are going to try and stop this. But how? They have no clue. But the first step, going outside. Is it truely toxic out there ? They're about to find out.
