Robert is an ice dancer with the Winter's Charade Circus Company. Or, he wants to be. Right now, he's mainly serving as a prop for his partner, Anya. It isn't that he isn't interesting, or that he lacks ambition; he's just missing a certain spark.
Alva, a fire dancer with a neighboring circus, is nothing but sparks. When they speak, cinders fly from their mouth, and flames lick at their heels.
When the two meet, ice and fire, Robert gains the spark he's been missing, and Alva finds someone to settle down with someday.
