Analia, a 17 year old girl, is living a life living with her abusive alcoholic father and drug-addicted mother. Her one and only friend, Jared, is known as the 'rich bad boy' at school, and she's the 'mysterious badass'. They do almost everything together, but he still barely knows anything about her. She's living a life filled with loneliness, depression and self harm, and for her entire life, she had to go through everything alone, even when she needed someone most.

Though all the guys at her school are in love with her, and all the girls are jealous of her, she just can't seem to make any true friends. Until one day, when things got too out of control at her house, she ran into the woods, the one place where she can find peace. When she meets him. A boy named Calvin, only a year older than her, who understands and feels the same pain that she has felt for nearly her entire life.
