Zoey Nightingale was placed into a foster home at the age of 4, bouncing from house to house and never staying there long. She is a tomboy "troublemaker" who believes in the Supernatural, and that belief is solidified the day her most recent foster parents were killed by a pack of Skinwalkers and she herself is saved by none other than Sam and Dean Winchester. Alone, slightly traumatized, and with a newfound hatred towards supernatural monsters, she manages to convince the brothers to let her stay with them and join their crazy, fucked up world.
