The Storm twins, orphaned and scarred, struggle to move past the death of their parents. Hunter, after years of grief was finally able to move on with his life and become a straight A student, a star athlete and have a normal life. Gryffin, unable to let the memory of his parents death go, drinks, does drugs and self harms to relieve the pain. Abused and broken, he wants nothing more than to die rather than live another day.  After being adopted into a strange new family, Gryffin's life changes drastically and he spirals further down into his habits, destroying the lives of everyone around him. The saviour of the wizarding world is beaten mercilessly by his Uncle and Cousin. His aunt starves him and verbally abuses him. Eventually he couldn't take it and started cutting, taking drugs, getting mindlessly drunk and street fighting illegally with his muggle friends. (They obviously don't know about magic but do know about his home life). This is set from the summer before fifth year onwards. Let's see if his friends can save him before he's too far gone.
