While out on a case, Detective Peregrine Lore discovers two very important things. One, he witnesses the beginnings of a series of unexplainable car explosions. Two, he meets his new partner, a forensic pathologist and investigator, first hand. Very first hand. The two investigate a long series of unique explosions, where the cars are obliterated into millions of pieces like magic. As they continue down the road, the case gets more and more confusing. It's soon revealed that the culprit is not your average human. They're dealing with an experienced and other- worldly killer, hell bent on revenge, who won't stop until he gets what he wants. What he wants? Peregrine Lore. 'I saw the two dogs under a car in my peripheral vision, when suddenly, it exploded into a million pieces. I skidded to a halt and whirled around as I was blasted off my feet.' - Chapter 1

Hello there, remember me? The girl who faced probably every catastrophe ever to happen; I mean if I lost my sanity I have a perfect excuse. Probably excuses too; big foots for one, then doomsday, then my damn alter ego. Have I mentioned the bizarre dreams of a blue eyed dazzling guy are haunting me? What if I tell you that my last adventure is the most absurd one of all? I mean it is one thing to lie about your past love life and another to lie about the damn past of an entire planet. Am I right? Little have I known about Casus; little have I known about anything. Everyone is keeping secrets that are revealed now. Ones enough to make me go to the loony house; I mean what on earth drove, probably everyone I know to lie. You and I are gonna find out now. XOXO, Alex Saviyer
