Hazelkit is a eager young kit, determined to become Medicine Cat apprentice. She wishes to heal for her clan and speak to their ancestors.

But the day of the ceremony twists her path when he sister choses first to become the Medicine Cat apprentice. Hazelpaw becomes enraged as she is made a Warrior apprentice instead.

She lacks at fighting and hunting skills and vows revenge on her boastful sister. Her sister has always wanted to beat her to things her whole life. With all of the anger boiling inside of Hazelpaw, she runs off...

Hazelpaw must soon realize things don't always turn out the way she wants them too. Even if she begs to StarClan for it..

She's just a Lost Star.
