Seventeen year old Katerina Salvatore is a vampire.

Her and her brothers, Stefan and Damon are planning revenge on the McCalls, who are the ones who killed their parents.

Jack Salvatore, their uncle, has wrote uncovered secrets in a journal, that has been passed down by each Salvatore.

When Katerina gets her hands on it, she comes up with an idea. To just attack and kill. But days before the attack, Jack's journal gets stolen, and Katerina will do everything in her power to get it back.

One day at school, Katerina discovers that a McCall goes to her school.

They get to know each other, and get closer and closer.

They both learn that there doesn't have to be an argument between the Salvatore's and the McCalls.

But how will they prove that to their families?
