I look up to see fire across the roof, I turn to run to my daughter whom is still in her bed, crying. Then black.
I wake up in a bed with white sheets and a white blanket, they are the softest clothe I've ever felt, I must be in a rich persons home. I put on a blue top which is set out for me over the bedspread along with some leggings, I have Never worn leggings before. When I'm done I open the door to see my sister Haley standing there in tears......

Shining Veins
I don't know how long I stayed there, kneeling to the ground and staring at my parents' corpses. Their blood stained most of my body as I rubbed my face trying to get it off. I furrow my eyebrows as I notice the drops of blood on the ground, not knowing if those were from my tears or injuries. The others have managed to distract them enough from hurting me, but I can't seem to get up and leave my parents alone. I hiccup as I look over to where the monsters that killed my parents are standing. My heart drops and my eyes widen as I see a familiar little girl with strawberry blonde hair being restrained. "W-What are you doing?!". I feel the panic settle in again. "LEAVE MY SISTER ALONE!". I whisper a 'no' as someone holds me back and I cry out as I feel the pain shoot up my arm from the strong hold. I try to see through my tears but can't tell who the guy is. I look over to my sister and notice they were holding another boy with us. The guard behind me sighs, and goosebumps run over my arms as he takes me over to what seems their leader before they start whispering. They both nod to each other before they start approaching us. And with Christmas approaching, our group get to face ten hellish days. Preview: In his fury, the chains have rubbed his wrists and neck raw, despite me trying to calm him down. He suddenly calms down when the screams in the cell next to us switch to the sound of bones breaking. Now he sits with foam on his lips and his eyes wide, looking that way. After ten minutes, the sounds of the boys in our cell have died down, and we all look at the wall that separates us from the crackling of the breaking bones. And then suddenly all is quiet. After a few silent minutes, our cell door opens slowly. From the ball of light from the ceiling, the little girl in the doorway is illuminated. She is completely covered in blood and doesn't move. Then she opens her eyes and carefully walks towards us. And despite everything, my first impulse is to crawl backwards, away from the unnatural calm radiating from her. ------------- After reading yet another great older brothers/younger sister story, where the family gets reunited after years of separation, the sister keeps the secret that she was abused and assaulted all along, and the brothers conceal their work in the mafia, I decided to give it also a try. The output of my story was initially to turn this around with openness and unconditional support and the torture should happen right in front of their very eyes. Because no story is complete without the (un)necessary bloodshed, action, humour and, of course, a bad guy. And who knows, to throw everything completely upside down, the main character may not survive. I won't write warnings above each chapter, because most of them contain violence, blood, torture, etc. Constructive criticism is welcome. Ow, and English is not my first, second or third language. So if I mess up somewhere, let me know!

I lifted my top slightly to see that there was a faint scar of the burn, I smiled at the thought of no more pain. I looked up to see the wolves were gone. "You have a lot of explaining to do young lady." I turned around to see Vincent and James with only shorts on. "I don't know what you mean?" I said innocently. I looked around to see Ethan gone. "We mean how did your wounds heal so quickly?" Vincent replied. "Well to get an answer you will have to catch me first." I said running off letting my wolf take over once again, Natalie shifts into my wolf and takes off.
