Angels are among the most perfect of god's creations. Benevolent and dreadful, they hold more power and intelligence than any human. But what happens when a person dies and god makes them an angel? How do they know what to do? They're taught, of corse. 

A new angel is given a rule book, a text book, and a human to protect. And rule number one of one hundred and one? Don't let your human die unless your told. Rule number two? Don't fall in love with one. 

Our main character found both rules very hard to follow.

Finding this trait also gets you your wings, which is what every young cherub strives to earn. It's a crazy world where anything can happen. Encluding a rather odd pair. Pepper is a 15 year old wingless. The last one in his whole grade. Everyone picks on him and hates him for it, but he especially hates himself for it. Sometimes, only sometimes when she was drunk or whatever with her stupid boyfriend did she punish Angel. That was once every blue moon. She was convinced me and Damien had Satan in us. While Angel, well she thought that Angel was an angel from Heaven. Now, let me stop rambling. This story will be an emotional roller coaster. Especially since we get sent to live with our older half-brothers. Mentions of self-harm, abuse, rape, miscarriage, violence, cursing, suicide attempts.
