In world were no one can be trusted... who do you trust? Such a world is Drissmount. A place filled with the decaying fate of hope dying and the loss of trust in people.

Himiko, a girl with a whole life, was tortured near death for taking a step into The Slaughtered Lambs Court. She plans a sabotage after finding out that torture wasn't the way to deal with trespassing. That they'd done it 'for no reason'.

Through hate and rage, Himiko must overcome her past, her present and change her future. But everything unravels after people start dying, in all sorts of ways. She uncovers bits of her broken and bloody past, including why she was born.

Can she handle the pressure and sacrifice? Or will she crumble and allow the Darkness to devour her...
