The destinies of two very different people interwine for one common goal:
     When Prince Adrian's twin brother dies, the crown passes down to him, but unfortunatly so does the ancient family curse. As the last prince of Enodia, he is pressured to find a way to break The Curse and secure the future of the kingdom... and he only has a lunar cycle to do it.  As a slayer, he has vowed to vanquish the creatures of the Realm of Shadows, so how can he harbor an increasing attraction towards the fiery, white-haired witch?
     Gwendolyn is nearly burned at the stake- unfairly of course, but when she is taken to the dungeons at Willowcrest Castle her fate changes forever. Forced to be the guide to a ruthless slayer on his journey to the Shadow Palace, she may unexpectedly find the answers she has been seeking for most of her life. However, against her better judgment and pride, her attraction to the gritty slayer increases- adding to her long list of problems.
      Together Gwendolyn and Adrian embark on a journey through the Realm of Shadows, battling monstrous creatures and the seemingly inevitable war that looms over the land; one that may destroy both the human Kingdom of Enodia and the mystical Realm of Shadows. While on their excursion, they may unexpectedly uncover a secret that may hold the key to a permanent peace between both kingdoms.
