I felt my powers replenish a bit as I flew up towards my brother trying to stop the tears, I stared at him before giving him a tight hug as he too turned into a green orb indicating his soul as it also enters me. I woke to a sudden breeze invading the warmth from the heavy blanket that caressed my skin. Here, alone with my thoughts, the still, calm quiet in the atmosphere is almost painful. I feel suffocated in the clingy, static air. In quiet, still moments like these, I can almost feel Him. I don't know who "Him" is, but I can feel his presence. It's almost calming, especially on fearful, anxiety fueled nights. Usually, he was the strongest when I had a nightmare. The nightmares weren't as common now, but, right after everything happened, I was having them every night. I'd wake up and swear I was drenched in blood, my eyes and lips sticky, my nose filled with the smell of iron and fuel. After everything, that's when Him first came. From there, he just never left. I can usually sense when Him is near. Today, though, his presence is stronger. I can almost feel Him next to me, weighing down the mattress. Some nights, I roll over and imagine how he looks, envision his smile or the sparkle in his eyes. He's never there and I'm left clutching to the thought that he exists, staring into empty air. Tonight, though, I swear I can reach out and touch him. Extending my hand gently, I sweep my hand out into the darkness and meet an inexplicable warmth. A scream rips from my lungs as hands cover my face and two icy blue eyes stare back at me, daring me to speak again. A soft cloth caressed my nose and mouth before I felt myself fade into bed. Prologue I used to have a nightmare when I was younger. It was always the same order and the same impact. It started with the warmth of sand consuming my feet. I looked up to see a warzone. There were flashes of fire, water, and lightning. It was like a war of the gods. Suddenly I felt the heat on my back. I turned to see neon red and yellow flames consume me. I ran to hide in the bushes that were next to me, feeling out of breath I tried to calm myself down. Strands of dark red hair covered my face. I proceeded to swipe my hair and look at my surroundings. I heard sobbing coming from near me. I trudged through the bushes and toward the sobbing when I got to under a willow tree. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked. I saw a girl with long dark red hair being the cause of the sobbing. She had a huge gash on her forehead with blood trailing down her face. She also had burns on her arms and shirt. The boy was in much worse condition. He was covered in burns, she was covering his face with only his hair showing. They both had the same colored hair. Suddenly my necklace started to glow with an amber color. The girl in front of me had a similar amber glow. Two amber crowns sat on top of the pillow. One female and one male crown sat on top of the pillow. Once I walked closer the glow came back. Once I grabbed the tiara everything became white. I was once again in another room, I attempted to move but I mysteriously couldn't. A neon purple bolt of lightning hit my chest. We both locked eyes with each other. Was that me? Before I could find out, the ground started to be drained into a whole. I was sucked into the drain and everything soon became black and I was free-falling. My back soon hit the ground of the room. I rose to look at the surroundings of the new room I was in. I fell to my knees from the pain. Then a person walked forward and grabbed my face.
