This creature wanted him to suffer, so what he did was kidnap her and launch her into space by throwing her fast and hard enough, towards the moon. It made the Man in Moon kill her indirectly as she suffocated when the oxygen ran out from her lungs. She died in the crash, but her soul became trapped on the Moon. Now she was the ghost in the Moon. As punishment, the Man in Moon put this creature who cannot touch him into a long sleep. The girl was trapped there for a thousand years, talking to the Man in Moon, and after that thousand years, she became a spirit. The Man in Moon let her wander back down to the Earth, but to not let her lonely, he trapped her in ice until he created the Fifth Guardian. Jack. I do not own The Rise of the Guardians.
