*FORMERLY KNOW AS: Refusing to be the Vampire I Really Am*

Some people willingly choose to become creatures of the night, but others aren't given that choice. Serenity, a troubled girl with a troubled past, was turned unwillingly and now must deal with the difficultly of being a vampire. However, being unable to kill for blood may just be her downfall. Having to deal with a Creator that isn't exactly helpful, the looming threat of the Vampire Hunters, and a budding romance with a man she hardly knows may just push Serenity towards the brink again. Will she get over her troubles, or will someone have to save her in the end?

He was my friend and you shot him!" Savanna cries. "Stop being stupid. Let's get out of here." "No! Let me go!" Savanna growls. --- An apocalypse is among us and no one is safe. Zombies eat humans to survive, and humans kill zombies to survive. It's the natural order of the zombie apocalypse, but when a human girl named Savanna meets a zombie boy that isn't like any other she befriends him. He's confused and terrified of both kinds and is frustrated when he can't speak or understand the zombie's language. Why is this particular zombie different?
