In a new world, everyone has a distinct birthmark. The two people who have matching marks, are destined to be together. In the old world, it was just a uncommon deformity of blood vessels. Somehow, while scientists were testing this deformity, children everywhere developed it. Not one child has been born without it in over one thousand years. The weird thing is... It has a purpose in this new world. As someone gets closer to their soulmate, their mark grows warmer and as they get farther, it grows colder. Luckily, there is peace with their mark and themselves until puberty hits. Then the one true goal, is to find our equal and love of our life.
