This is the story of how a young elf girl perseveres through terrible losses and finds peace in the solitude she so desperately needed. I am writing this to fully flush out the backstory of my Dungeons and Dragons character. It will be short but hopefully moving.

First off, this story was not written by me. I am posting it for a friend of mine, with permission of course. This took place in a Dungeons & Dragons game over 30 years ago. It is a about how one of the player characters got his start; Crentar Bronn. He is a human ranger of 1st level in this story. This is important to note, because it'll bring more perspective as you read the story. I was the DM (Dungeon Master) for this game. At the time, we were still in high school, which of course, gives away our age. lol I decided to have each character do it solo before they actually met up with each other. A teaser so-to-speak. Eventually, there was five player characters in the game. My friend who ran Crentar Bronn remembers this whole solo adventure to this very day in great detail. A few years after the game is when he wrote this story. We were recently reminiscing about 'old times' and he told me that he actually wrote it out as a story. He was then able to find it on an old hard drive & then sent it to me. I was very surprised at how good this is & how great his memory was from that adventure. I'm flattered that he was so inspired by it, that he turned it into a story! I hope you enjoy this early adventure of Crentar Bronn as much as we did. Perhaps, with enough comments & likes, he'll be inspired to write more chapters. THX

All of my OCs for RP. Just a warning, all of them are female. I'm not super comfortable roleplaying male characters, but maybe in the future I will. I dunno yet. (And, before anyone asks, this is a semi-lit "correct grammar" type rp, so if that's not for you, feel free to move on. Also, in any of these chapters, if you don't follow the rules, after a while I might not respond. I'm sorry, but rules are meant to be followed. The result of me and a couple of my friends playing Dungeons and Dragons. After a while, we just decided to make it into a story. I wrote basically all of it, and my friends made requests. Most of the time I tried to keep it to one linear story. I planned for a couple plot twist that never actually happened as I went on. Meep, my first story submitted to here. It also happens to rip off a lot of things from other stories. If you can notice them, you are the most epic person ever and you deserve ice cream.

This book is about what would happen if fantasy elements from the worlds greatest roleplaying game were suddenly merged with our world. It's a dark fantasy novel with many twists and realistic scenarios. I'm a very amateur writer and veteran hopefully you enjoy my story.
