Evelyn Bukavitsky. 13 years old. She's that one kid at the back of the class who doesn't talk unless necessary. 

Evie has been through a lot. On her 10th birthday, her mom died in a car crash, whilst she only got cut up by broken glass, and a minor concussion. She lost two people in a matter of 3 years, A dear family friend who goes by the name of James Owen Sullivan, and her mother Elizaveta Viktorovna Bukavitsky (Bew-ka-vit-sky, not boo-ka-vit-skee)

She spends her 11th birthday at her cousins house, who teaches her more about guitar, and the next 2 are spent at an orphanage. Until a certain bassist fixes that, and takes her from an orphanage in Tennessee, to his house in California.
