Three years ago, Lacey D'Angelo broke her own heart. She also broke Adam Marr's. Now she's waiting out the end of her contract as a pop star, waiting to write music that means something to her. His band is world famous because he wrote an album about her when he tried to kill himself and he hasn't looked up from the bottle since. But you can't mend a broken heart if you don't have anything to stick it together with, no matter what chords you set it to. And what if love just isn't enough?

Rebecca (Bex to her friends) Brown lives and breathes music. She spends her nights in her room as the sole content creator, editor, photographer, and printer of her fanzine: Ten Storey Love Songs. She's slowly been building a loyal fan base under the pseudonym of Ben Brown. You see, as a sixteen year old girl in 1994 it's difficult to be taken seriously in the middle aged, male dominated music world. One night, Bex takes a chance. One single decision. One single piece of advice she is given changes the course of her life. And also the life of one surly, opinionated Mancunian singer/guitarist/songwriter: Noel Gallagher. One chance meeting results in this pair weaving in and out of each other's lives for the next 30 years.
