Reality is broken; full of flaws; undeniably imperfect to the point of no return. Dreams are wishes our idle minds create in the dark of the night; a blinding while light created by a small flicker; a place where they survive in eternal paradise.

The world is imperfect; dying; violent and prone to disease and evil, always. Yet, still, there is only but one flaw to blame and that is the flaw of interaction. That is why every living creature, animal or humanoid, is induced into a comatose state and laid side by side next to each other, never having to interact to survive; never having to face heartbreak or the feelings of hurt; they only have their inner selves to explore. They live inside their mind, living out the perfect life in a perfect world; the world of their dreams.

Jenna Payson has been comatose for 12 years when, suddenly, the dream sequence programming begins to fail. Nightmares begin to appear within the sequencing and organisms begin dying off quickly. The only way for her to survive is to escape the boundaries of her own mind and release herself from the comatose state she has been confined to.

Unfortunately, that is easier thought than done.
