A terrible plague has swept the world, forcing all forms of life onto the brink of extinction due to a mutation in the newly developed AIDS cure. With five immunes left in the world, the fight seems futile and almost everyone has retreated to the small town of Scarlette Cove, the last known safe haven. One solitary immune remains outside of it's confining borders: Avery Wilson, a heavily pregnant teen. Unfortunately, all of her remaining family is within the borders of Scarlette Cove.
