Callize Ariestelle is a mermaid, or at least that's what the humans call the nixies: water spirits that can transform into human form.

The nixies are long time enemies of the fae, even helping the human government capture them to harvest their magical blood, which has resulted in faeries becoming nearly extinct.

Callize, however, feels a fascination toward faeries, constantly reading about them and drawing them, even though she has never seen one.

That is, until the day she finds herself saving the stunning Accadia, and things take a turn heading for epic adventure.
