Avery Harrison is amazing with knives. She could be Clove's twin. You know, knife girl from the hunger games? She can throw a knife from however many metres away and still manage to plant it in your heart. School isn't getting in the way for her, she's never lasted without threatening somebody and getting expelled. I mean, she's supposed to be in Grade 9! This 15 year old has talent - and she needs to use it fast. When her idiot cousin Cameron robs a bank, she must protect him from police and thugs that want the money. But Cameron's friend Connor knows too much, and poses a threat to their survival. She is going to have to kill him, but it's kinda hard to kill somebody when you love them.
