James Buchanan Barnes is just another father to a six-year-old in America, his Winter Soldier past put behind him when T'challa's scientists found a cure to kill the effects of the serum inside him. Of course, the cure has to have a side effect to it. T'challa's cure entails one horrible side effect: Bucky will lose his memories of the person closest to him.
I think we all know who that is.
Then, out of the blue, a crisis strikes Bucky's family life. Fearful and stricken, he is at a loss at how to salvage his crumbling life, when he meets a man named Steven Grant Rogers.
Our story thus begins.
