Sydney Kate Owens moved to Illinois barely one year ago. She hasn't found it hard to make friends, and her life in the city couldn't be more perfect. But most importantly, they're fangirls of the worlds real life superhero: Jumprope. Eight months after watching the season finale of Jumprope's hit T.V. show, Sydney receives a visitor, and her world is flipped upside down as she desperately tries to hold onto friendship, love, hope, and who she really is.
