She isn't known like the Mikealson family is. She's not in any old legends or history (that she knows of). Very few know she exists. The Mikealsons don't know she exists...yet.

Soon after she moved into the new town Rebekah had befriended the new witch. Soon afterwards she befriended all the Mikaelsons.
