This is a story of a human girl that humanity thought was turning into a monster (which she was) so she is forced to go to a school for monsters that she can not leave til she fully turns. But right after she get there her entire family are killed so she goes around killing monsters to vengeance her families deaths. With no one to call her own and no place to go after she turns will she survive the turn or get killed by the monsters before she turns.

By becoming a prodigy she is transferred to an all monster high school/college and is the first human to ever attend the school. This story is about a 16 year old girl named Melody Swift. Ever since her mother died, her so-called "father" started abusing her. Kids at school are cruel, they bully her brutally just because she's different. She simply waits for everything to get better, after all what's the point in trying when the world will do whatever they can to drag you down. Her only escape from this twisted reality is a creature named Shadow. A terrifying creature that is somehow more humane than the so-called humans around her. Shadow could easily take all her problems away, but Melody refuses to take the easy way out. That is, until she just couldn't take it anymore, she takes Shadow's offer and soon her life got better. Her bullies started disappearing, showing up dead in the woods. Their bodies badly mutilated, almost unrecognizable. Life at school started getting better, she finally had human friends and even a boyfriend. Her "father" was found dead at her house. The torture had finally ended.
