Same Drugs is a "Camren" fan fiction loosely based around the song "same drugs" by Chance The Rapper which is loosely based around peter pan in a version where peter comes back and the window is closed symbolizing Wendy's began to grow up. In the song, Chance uses the word drugs as a metaphor for the things he no longer shares with this woman. When they were young he would share lots of similar interests but as they grew apart, that changed. Similar with Cam and Lauren after Cam is forced to move schools, their similar interests seem to fade after a while. As they are separated, Cam promises to return to find Lauren after college, other than that, they would attempt to stay in close contact through letters, video calls, and Lauren coming out to visit whenever she could. Letters became less frequent, video calls shorter, and things seemed to come up that prevented Lauren from taking the drive out to Cam. ...Sometimes things don't go according to plan. Some time after Cam had been in college, she runs into Lauren on campus. Had Cam waited too long to find her? Are things too broken to mend between them?
