Bree is a 19 year old living on her own in NewYork. She goes to NYU and works at one of the most important publishing companies.
Xavier is the son of Adam King, the owner of Kings Publishing House. When Bree catches Xavier's attention he begins to show signs of affection but maybe his ego is to big to let those feelings in.
Despite Xavier, Bree's stepbrother Jordan, comes to stay with her for the holidays and her friends begin to attend NYU as well. Because her mother remarried she had to go live with her stepfather's family and they were born wealthy making her a spotlight in the media. She decides to go off on her own after her mother leaves Victor (stepfather) and this makes him resent Bree even more.
How can Bree stay away from him when she has such a positive relationship with her stepbrother, even when he won't believe her about the things his father has done?
Bree secretly visits her biological father once in a while to avoid suspicion. With recent heartbreak from an ex-boyfriend and problems with her family she manges to just get by but that won't last very long when working with the competing company of your stepfather and getting the attention of one of the most adored young bachelors in NewYork.
A story of love and heartbreak as well as laughs mixed with tears.

Yes this story is part of a series and this is barely the first book so I;m updating pretty slow but it's just to get the flow of the story. There are errors and plot holes maybe but this is unedited so please don't grill me.
