Prologue: I looked deep into his stormy blue eyes, feeling the heat within me bubble to the surface, suffocating me to the brink where I could not stand to have any part of my body not touched by him. "My mate" he whispered as if to thank the gods and I found myself replying to the rumbling magic of his voice "yours" I quietly answered. The fact that a party was raging around did not phase my need and right then my only need was him and my mind, body, and heart focused souly on him, my newly found mate. The heat in my body hit an all time maximum and I saw spots blurring my vision, my mates arms wrapped around me like a cool mist settling on my skin and the heat disappeared but so did my sight and ability to move and darkness slowly consumed my mind as I fell into the mating bonds first sleep.

It hurt. "L-let me go, you, you're hurting me!" I looked up at him scared, his eyes were now completely dark, and the next thing I noticed were pointed teeth poking out from his lips. I screamed and pushed at him but he didn't budge. I then raised my knee and kneed him between the legs with all my force, and he dropped like a rock, holding his groin. Run. I took my chance.
