I'd Call This Love

Ricella Amber hates all men with a fiery determination. When her father died in an Air Force accident, her mother didn't have any way to pay for their house so Steven Cart came and took over their lives. He made her mother miserable by being an abusive and pushy boyfriend, and her mother had to go out with him as long as he paid for their house and Ricella's school.

Wanting to fight back, Ricella finds the perfect opportunity in stocky power-house Gabriel Bowman. Because both of them despise the other, its enjoyable for each to grapple with the other about anything argumentative that comes to mind. The only reason Ricella doesn't bury herself in depression or drugs for relief, is because she won't be able to keep beating Gabriel in arguments if she loses control of her mind.

Extremely against men and their careless behavior towards women, Ricella has always known she will never get married no matter what it costs. Then her mother gets into an accident, and Ricella has nowhere to go. Gabriel comes through for her, but he brings up something she has always loathed.

That marriage.

It would be an escape for both of them from what they suffer, but Ricella fears it would be a cage, living with someone she could never love herself. But can Gabriel love her? Could it be that the fiercest kind of hatred, can mold the best kind of love? Ricella is so afraid it can't.
