Short story for Brian Kesinger's writing contest.

Alana is a girl with a wild imagination. Ever since the tender age of 5 she's had a magnificent ability to draw dragons; one of earth's favourite mythological creatures. Her thoughts and her dreams have been surrounded around her obsession with these creatures. At the age of 18, on a very special day when even mother nature has pushed her towards her destiny, will Alana uncover why she has always had such an admiration for dragons? Will her drawings finally come to life to guide her towards the answer or will she yet again wake up from this reoccurring dream?

This short story is very symbolic. The topics behind confinement, dragons, imagination, etc. are all open to interpretation. ENJOY!
